Involvement Fair 2014: Registration Now Open!

The Involvement Fair is an opportunity for student organizations and departments to tell students about what they do and to recruit new students who may be interested in joining. The event is open to all, especially those looking to get involved on campus! The Involvement Fair will take place on Sunday, August 24th, 2014 from 2:30-4:30pm (TENTATIVE) in the Regency Room, Capital Room, Duke Ellington Ballroom, and Art Gallery Lounge. All rooms are located in the Holmes Student Center.

Please complete the application below in order for your department/organization to participate in the Involvement Fair.

To complete the registration process, a cost center number must be provided on your application or you must bring a check/cash to Student Involvement & Leadership Development in the Campus Life Building, room 150. PLEASE FILL OUT THE APPLICATION BELOW FIRST BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR PAYMENT. We will not accept any payment if you have not registered your department/organization.

A signature(s) on the application indicates that everyone understands and agrees to the following: 

  • From May 1st-June 30th, the fee is $10.00 to participate. After June 30th, the registration fee will be $20.00. If you register on August 24th, the day of the event, the cost is $30.00, but there is no guarantee that a table will be available. Please note: If you wish to pay with cash or check and have not paid your participation fee by August 24th, even if you registered earlier, you must pay $30.00.
  • This fee is non-refundable.
  • The Involvement Fair fee will be taken out of your 2014-2015 budget.
  • Check-in begins at 1:45pm (TENTATIVE) on Sunday, August 24th outside the Duke Ellington Ballroom of the Holmes Student Center.
  • Which room your table is located in will be assigned by Student Involvement & Leadership Development. Your table will need to be set up by 2:30pm (TENTATIVE) or risk forfeiture. 
  • If available, on-site registration with a late registration fee of $30.00 (cash/check only) will begin at 1:30pm (TENTATIVE).
  • Tables must be staffed by a member of the sponsoring organization/department from 2:30pm until 4:30pm. 
  • Masking or painter’s tape are the only type of tape allowed for use on the tables. No other types of tape, paint, or ink may be used on the tables.
  • Your organization/department is responsible for any damages to tables/chairs used at this event. 
  • A confirmation email will be sent during the week of August 11th, 2014. It will include detailed check-in instructions and finalized times for the Fair.
