Annual Volunteer Fair--September 19, 2013

Students, faculty, and staff are invited to research local volunteer opportunities in DeKalb, Sycamore, and the surrounding communities by visiting the SILD Volunteer Fair any time between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 19th in the Art Gallery Lounge in the Holmes Student Center. The fair is free for members of the NIU community to attend and is a terrific opportunity to visit with representatives from many organizations at once. 

Are you a local not-for-profit organization looking to showcase your volunteer opportunities to NIU students? To register, please fill out the registration form. Registration is $5.00 and must be paid upon check-in at the fair to receive a parking pass. This fee covers the cost of one on-campus parking pass. There is an additional fee of $5.00 for any other parking passes your organization may need. The fee is waived if you will not be parking on-campus.

Please return the registration form by Friday, September 5th in order to reserve your spot at the NIU Volunteer Fair. Pay special attention to include current volunteer positions that are available. Upon receipt of your registration form, email communication will follow, outlining details of check-in, set-up times, parking instructions, and other helpful information.
