Benchmarking
The main focus in conducting a benchmarking project is to identify "best practice" institutions or organizations. Departments may conduct large- or small-scale benchmarking projects, as appropriate for their units. Important elements from the benchmarking process will be reviewed during the data analysis stage to determine which, if any, best practices can be implemented at NIU.
