Both Task Forces Initially Meet in Room 203 at 10 am
- Welcome and Announcements
- President John Peters and Provost Ray Alden address the Task Forces; Task Forces provide a brief update on activities
- Break, Task Force on Curricular Innovation moves to Altgeld 225
- Task Forces give Subgroup Reports (please bring copies of reports to distribute to Task Force members) —10-15 minutes each
- Outline overarching questions and long-term goals (approximately 1-3)
- List potential strategies and initiatives related to goals described (e.g., what are the exact activities, who are the ‘champions’ of these activities, how would you prioritize these initiatives, etc.).
- Summary (where we are, were we need to be by Feb 8th)
- Are there resources that subgroups need (e.g., people on/off campus they need to discuss their issues with, travel to meetings, various publications—communicate that quickly to the Chairs)?
- Stated goals and related strategies/initiatives need to be submitted to Task Force Chairs (in an email attachment) by Feb. 1.
