NIU will review, consolidate and benchmark its existing diversity initiatives regarding curriculum, the cocurriculum, and institutional culture. |

A working group was appointed by the Provost in Fall semester of 2009. During the 2009-2010 academic year the working group reviewed seven interdisciplinary minors and two interdisciplinary certificate programs. Recommendations were made to the Provost and resulted in the hiring (Fall 2011) of a part-time Coordinator of Academic Diversity Programs who will work with the Academic Diversity Program Advisory Committee (ADPAC) |
