Work Groups

Among the outcomes expected of the Strategic Planning Task Force is creation of a set of overarching goals to guide NIU’s development over the next decade.

Members of the Task Force were divided into four workgroups charged with specific areas of inquiry related to NIU's teaching and learning environment, research clusters, regional impact and campus/community culture.

Links to draft recommendations from each group appear below. Each workgroup was asked to identify specific goals and objectives; resources needed to achieve those goals and objectives; and metrics needed to measure progress in each area.
