STEM Saturdays

Add some wonder to your weekend!

NIU STEM Outreach’s STEM Saturday classes are held at both the DeKalb campus and Naperville campus. These classes are designed help students learn about interesting topics through hands on activities and exciting demonstrations. This season’s classes will cover topics ranging from building our own Rube Goldberg machines to studying the life found in local rivers to learning about the science of color and light.

Students can sign up for just one or as many sessions as they want. Parents are encouraged to attend their students' classes and get in on the fun.  (For classes including 2nd and 3rd graders, parents of younger students are strongly encouraged to attend)

When: Morning Sessions from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Afternoon sessions from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: DeKalb Campus - Swen Parson 146 (unless otherwise noted in course description)

Naperville Campus - Room # TBA

Cost: Dekalb: $25 per Saturday session

Naperville: $35 per Saturday session

$5 off each additional student for families registering multiple students.
