Frankie Benson
Frankie is Assistant Director of SSS and has been with the program since February 1993.
She has an Associate of Science from Waubonsee Community College, a Bachelor of Arts, and Master of Education in Counseling.
Frankie assists Jerry with the database records, grant writing, staff training, and day to day supervision of the graduate assistants. She has a caseload of 50 students.
Frankie is faculty advisor to two student groups: College Parents' Group and TRiO Scholars. She is also current state president of ICPA (Illinois College Personnel Association), and serves on the NIU Supportive Professional Staff Council.
