Welcome to SSPP

The Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology (SSPP) was founded in 1904. Its purpose is to promote philosophy and psychology by facilitating the exchange of ideas between those engaged in these fields, by encouraging research, by fostering the educational function of philosophy and psychology, and by improving the academic status of the subjects.

The Southern Society for Philosophy and Psychology is pleased to announce that our next annual meeting will be held in Cincinnati!

The Southern Society conducts an annual meeting at which members gather to share and recognize outstanding research in the fields of philosophy and psychology. These meetings are typically held in March or April. SSPP encourages paper submissions to these meetings from all of its members.

Membership

SSPP invites applications for membership from professional philosophers and psychologists. More information about membership is available here.
