Scholarly Interests:  My research interests are primarily concerned with the intersection of social stratification (in particular urban inequality) with collective action, protest, and social movements. I am also interested in issues of racial/ethnic identity, race/ethnic relations, political sociology, collective efficacy, health disparities, and immigration.
