Scholarly Interests:  My research looks at the long-term process of rebuilding communities after the end of wars.  I am particularly interested in the role non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play in peacebuilding.  My broad interests within sociology include development, globalization, gender studies, human rights, social movements, organizations, and civil society.

Courses Taught: Social Movements and Collective Behavior; Qualitative Research Methodology; Peace and Social Justice.
