October 29, 2012: Sigma Tau Delta Scholarships Deadline Extension
Dear Sponsors and Chapter Officers,
In light of mandatory evacuations that have been ordered as Hurricane Sandy impacts those in the East, we are mindful of the potential impact on students and faculty (and all) who are in the storm's path.
I am writing as chair of the Scholarship Committee to convey that, because of these unexpected circumstances, we will extend the Scholarship Application deadline for students by one week, to Monday, November 5, 11:59 p.m. CST, and the due date for letters of recommendation (likewise by one week) to Monday, November 12, 11:59 p.m. CST.
