Men's and women's locker rooms are available in all Recreation Services managed facilities. Locker rooms provide convenience for patrons who work out between their daily responsibilities. Daily lockers are provided at no charge. Rental lockers are available at the Student Recreation Center. All lockers in the Student Recreation Center (SRC) are equipped with digital locks. There is no need to bring a personal padlock for lockers in the SRC.
Recreation Services offers two types of locker rentals at the Student Recreation Center: full, regular size lockers in both the men's and women's locker rooms, and half-size lockers located in the hallway adjacent to the Cardio and Strength Training Room and Multipurpose Courts 7 and 8. Gabel Hall Pool lockers are also available to rent.

Locker Policies
Items left overnight in day lockers or in lockers past the expiration date of the rental will be confiscated and placed in storage for thirty days. After thirty days, items confiscated will be donated to local charities. Patrons may retrieve locker items within the thirty-day holding period by paying a $10.00 fee.
NEW! Starting August 1, 2009, students and members can purchase a towel-exchange service. At the time of purchase patrons will be given a towel. Dirty towels can be exchanged at the Service Counter for a clean towel.

Dry saunas are located in both the men's and women's locker rooms at the Student Recreation Center and are available for use by students and Recreation Services members at no additional cost.
Equipment check-out for indoor sports and activities is available at both the Student Recreation Center and Chick Evans Field House Service Counters. Patrons must present a NIU OneCard to check out equipment.
