NIU Flesh and Bone: Analyses of Neandertal fossils reveal diet was high in meat content
 
An international team of scientists has documented that Neandertals were high-level carnivores with adept hunting skills through bone-chemistry analyses of fossils found at this Vindija cave site in Croatia.
