"I have come a long way since I started the program, changing my emphasis from non-profit management to finance since lately there are interests in the applications of data science in local government. I have been able to integrate all of these interests into a cohesive professional world-view: combining creativity, an understanding of the bottom line, and the endless possibilities of future innovations. The MPA program has encouraged my curiosity as well as developed the fundamentals of how organizations function and how program are accomplished. I appreciate the opportunity afforded to me. I would recommend students to take the stats class early on in the program so they can integrate those vital skills early."
