Individuals appointed to fill administrative positions on a temporary basis or assigned additional administrative duties for a specific term may be granted an administrative salary adjustment appropriate to the additional duties of the period of such appointment. Administrative adjustments must be recommended by the Provost and submitted for review to the President, and approved by the Board of Trustees. When approved, such temporary administrative adjustments should be made a matter of record by letter to the individual at the time of appointment, with copies for the Provost's Office, dean, chair and supervisor as appropriate.
