How to Apply

Students interested in applying for the PROMISE Scholars Program must be:

(1)  Admitted to NIU as a freshmen or sophomore.

(2)  A freshmen or sophomore student majoring in a STEM field.

(3)  An undeclared student interested in STEM majors.

(4)  Completion of a PROMISE Scholar’s application.

(5)  A statement describing your interest in the NIU PROMISE Scholar Program.

Application process is free to admitted NIU students.
