REQUIRED TEXT
Aristotle, The Complete Works of Aristotle: The Revised Oxford Translation, (2 Volume Set), Ed. Jonathan Barnes, Oxford UP, 1st edition.

COURSE CONTENT
This course delves into Aristotle’s ethics, metaphysics, philosophy of mind, and epistemology. We will begin with a brief foray into Aristotle’s Categories, then move on to the Physics, De Anima (On the Soul), the Metaphysics, and Nicomachean Ethics.

COURSE FORMAT
Primarily lecture, with some discussion.
Requirements: four 3-4 page papers (1000-1200 words) and a final essay exam
