Amazing Women Awards

25th Anniversary Logo

In honor of its 25th anniversary, Northern Illinois University's Presidential Commission on the Status of Women, in cooperation with the Office of the President, the Women's Resource Center, and the Women's Studies Program, recognizes the achievements of twenty-five amazing NIU women employees. Awards were presented at the PCSW 25th Anniversary Gala held April 27, 2006. Read Northern Today Article.

Intent of Awards

The awards were intended to celebrate women's achievements and contributions in their career and personal endeavors. Nominations of women were encouoraged from all employment classifications.

Eligibility

Currently employed by NIU as a member of the operating staff, supportive professional staff, or faculty.
