Parking Permits

Buying a Permit

+ Parking permits can be purchased online, by mail, or in person. Only one regular permit can be purchased by an employee or a student. Exception: A motorcycle permit can be purchased in addition to a regular color-coded permit (blue, brown, green, orange, purple or yellow).

+ Falsification of registration information may lead to fines and denial of parking privileges. A university identification card may be requested at the time of registration.

+ Graduate assistants eligible for a yellow permit must have their GA status verified by Campus Parking Services.

+ University-issued parking permits may not be loaned, traded, or sold by the person(s) to whom they have been issued. Persons displaying a permit that is registered to someone else may have the permit revoked, receive parking citations and/or have parking privileges denied.

Purchase a permit online

+ Summer semester student parking permits are available online as of April 5, 2012. Parking permits ordered will not be mailed out until May 4, 2012. Please note -- summer parking permits are available for purchase in the Parking Office beginning May 7, 2012.

+ Fall and annual student parking permits for 2012-2013 are available online as of June 13, 2012, but will not be mailed until the week of July 5, 2012. Please note -- fall and annual parking permits will be available for purchase in the Parking Office beginning July 9, 2012.

Purchase a permit by mail

+ Complete the Vehicle Registration Form. Mail the form with a check or credit card information to:

+ The permit will be mailed to you within three working days of receiving the order. Please note there is a $3.00 processing/mailing fee for permits purchased by mail.

Purchase a permit in person

Summer parking permits go on sale in the office beginning April 5, 2012. Fall and annual parking permits go on sale in the office beginning July 9, 2012. Campus Parking Services is located on the corner of Lincoln Terrace and Normal Road. Regular office hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday when the university is open.
