The university reserves the right to proceed against violators either in accordance with assessments listed herein or in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
Parking citations may be issued to a permit holder and/or vehicle registrant when any provision of the regulations is not adhered to or in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
- Citations issued to a vehicle displaying a permit are the responsibility of the person to whom the permit is registered.
- Citations issued to state-owned vehicles are the responsibility of the person to whom the vehicle was assigned at the time of the violation.
- Citations issued to a vehicle that is not registered are the responsibility of the person to whom the vehicle is registered.
Vehicles may receive more than one citation during a 24-hour period.
Fines designated by an asterisk (*) above can be discounted to one half the amount shown if paid within 48 hours of the citation date.
Citation fines must be paid or appealed within 10 calendar days of citation issuance. Citations may be paid by mail, on-line with the Parking Citation/Ticket Online Payment, in person at Campus Parking Services during business hours, or dropped in the depository on the east side of the Campus Parking Services building.
Please note that the university may place financial holds on the records of students with unpaid parking assessments.
