2013 Summer Reading Programs for Children and Adults

For an enjoyable activity with lifelong benefits, we recommend one of our eight different reading skills programs designed and taught by instructors from the Institute of Reading Development.

The summer reading programs are available in Arlington Heights, Aurora, Barrington, Champaign, Chicago, Chicago Heights, Downers Grove, Elgin, Elmhurst, Evanston, Gurnee, Hinsdale, Joliet, La Grange, Lake Forest, Lisle, Moline, Normal, Northbrook, Orland Hills, River Forest, Rockford, Sandwich, Schaumburg, Springfield, St. Charles, Wheaton, Wilmette, and other locations throughout the area.
Programs are offered by Northern Illinois University's Outreach Services, and taught by the Institute of Reading Development. These programs are not affiliated with NIU College of Education Reading Clinic.
