Responsibilities
Brian brings nearly twenty years experience in business development and marketing, the past thirteen at Northern Illinois University serving in a myriad of roles related specifically to outreach and adult and continuing education. Brian continues to spend much of his time cultivating partnerships with associations, companies, government agencies, and professional organizations.
As Director of ARC, Brian champions the Center’s efforts throughout the university, higher education and the association community while joining and supporting his colleagues in their efforts to accomplish the mission of identifying, creating and acting upon opportunities for collaboration and mutual benefits between the association community and higher education.
Brian also serves as the Director of NIU Outreach Education and Training where he is responsible for oversight of the coordination of off-campus regional courses, development of training and noncredit programs, delivery of conference services at the University’s three IACC certified Outreach Centers, and new business development for the Division of Administration and University Outreach.
Supplementing his role in Outreach, Brian is a marketing instructor in NIU’s College of Business and is an active member of multiple professional and trade organizations.
