MAP-Works for Faculty and Staff

MAP-Works for Faculty and Staff

MAP-Works is a student success and retention tool that can have a positive impact on how faculty and staff connect with students who are in need of additional assistance in their transition to Northern Illinois University. Whether you are a new or returning user, it is our goal to assist you in using this successful program.

By providing training and marketing, as well as implementing resources at the campus level, the Office of Student Academic Success empowers campus partners to utilize MAP-Works in the way that best suits their department's individual needs while still supporting the broader mission and purpose of MAP-Works at NIU. Below we have many resources to assist you in implementing MAP-Works.

If you are not already part of the MAP-Works team, but are interested in joining the program, please let us know. In addition, if you have some questions on implementation, or are not sure if the program would benefit you in your current position at NIU, please do not hesitate to contact our office. We are here to answer any questions that you might have.
