Earn your Bachelor’s Degree in Rockford

Rock Valley College and Northern Illinois University make it easy for you to expand your career opportunities and boost your earning power by furthering your education in Rockford.

Earn an associate's degree at RVC, then cap it off with a bachelor’s degree or a certificate of advanced study from NIU. If you have college credits from RVC or another accredited college, but haven’t earned a degree yet, we can help you pull things together.

The following programs are available at the conveniently located NIU Rockford center.

Part-time degree programs and certificates with classes offered during the evenings, weekends, and online:

• Elementary Education
• Geographic Information Systems (five-course certificate)
• Health and Human Sciences
• Industrial Management and Technology
• Liberal Arts and Sciences 
• Nursing – RN to BS completion program

Part-time courses usually meet once each week.

Online courses usually have one to three face-to-face meetings during the semester.

Full-time degree program where classes are offered during the daytime:

• Business Administration

Full-time program courses meet one to three times each week.
