The ECC-NIU Partnership

Earn your Bachelor’s Degree in Elgin and Hoffman Estates.

Elgin Community College and Northern Illinois University make it easy for you to expand your career opportunities and boost your earning power by furthering your education in the Fox Valley area.

Earn an associate's degree at ECC, then cap it off with a bachelor’s degree from NIU. If you have college credits from ECC or another accredited college, but haven’t earned a degree yet, we can help you pull things together.

The following programs are available at Elgin Community College’s Fox Valley University and Business Center, the NIU Hofffman Estates center, and other nearby locations.

Part-time degree programs and certificates with classes offered during the evenings, weekends, and online.

Part-time courses usually meet once each week.

Online courses usually have one to three face-to-face meetings during the semester.
