You must complete 120 semester hours with at least 40 hours in upper-division courses, maintain at least a 2.00 GPA, and complete general education requirements. Transfer students may use approved course work, but must earn a minimum of 30 semester hours at NIU.
The 120 semester hours needed for graduation may be obtained in the following ways:
27 hours of NIU upper level technology management and supervision courses:
And two courses from:
6 hours of technology electives and seven hours of general electives earned at NIU, a community college, or other accredited institution
23 hours in technology foundations, math, science, management, and accounting fundamentals earned at NIU, a community college, or other accredited institution
30 hours in technology foundations, math, science, management, and accounting fundamentals earned at NIU, a community college, or other accredited institution:
27 hours of general education requirements earned at NIU, a community college, or other accredited institution
