Northern View Community > Homepage
Northern View Community is the a new residential facility at NIU. It includes mostly two-bedroom apartments with a limited number of one-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. All units are equipped with full kitchens, washers and dryers, cordless telephones, and Internet. Amenities within the community include a community center equipped with a computer lab, community rooms, study areas, a play room and a playground for children of residents.
Northern View Community is designed for students who are married, have a domestic partner or dependent, are graduate or professional students, or are undergraduate students at least 22 years of age.
We are now accepting applications for Spring 2008. Please include your $25 application fee with your application. There are mostly two-bedroom units available, but a three-bedroom unit might become available. We do not anticipate having any available one-bedroom units.
Applications for Fall 2008 will be accepted starting in late November. Offers will be made beginning in February 2008.
