Rockford executive Marc J. StraussMarc J. Strauss, general counsel for First Rockford Group in Rockford, Ill., has been elected chair of the Board of Trustees of Northern Illinois University.
Strauss, who was first appointed to the board in 2005 and most recently served as its vice chair, said “respect, transparency and accountability” will mark his tenure as board chair.
