 Nancy Kasinski
| Nancy J. Kasinski
Nancy J. Kasinski, the director of the Center for Access-Ability Resources, has one of the university's behind-the-scenes roles that makes all the difference for those students and staff who need accommodations in order to fulfill their potential. Her job has required her to patiently educate many on campus about the issues and needs associated with disabilities and to collaborate with faculty, support units and organizations on campus to smooth the way for people who need her services. She is nationally known for her work, and has made her expertise available to staff at other universities who are trying to support their own populations with disabilities. She is a single mother and a volunteer at her church and at the local humane shelter. As her nominator says: “ Nancy works wherever she sees a need.”
