Professor Milivoje Kostic of the Department of Mechanical Engineering has contributed “Work, Power, and Energy,” a 12-page article within the Basics of Energy topic, as an invited author for a six-volume Encyclopedia of Energy, just published by Elsevier/Academic Press, a renowned publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products.

Kostic, whose interest and expertise is in thermodynamics and fluid/thermal/energy area, contributed a fundamental article to the first encyclopedia ever published on the entire field of energy. The six-volume set has an international perspective, and includes 21 topics with about 400 articles about all aspects of energy.
