INTERACT EFFECTIVELY WITH PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
Affirmative Action and Diversity Resources presents a seminar on "Interacting Effectively with Students and Colleagues with Disabilities" from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, in Campus Life Building room 100. The objectives of this interactive workshop are to increase awareness of the needs of people with disabilities, raise the comfort level in accommodating students and colleagues with disabilities and learn effective strategies for making the classroom and campus environment more inclusive for all those who are differently-abled. The workshop will include interactive exercises, demonstrations and information about campus resources. Refreshments will be served. Advance registration is required. LABRYRINTH DEDICATION
The DeKalb Community Labyrinth and Memorial Garden at Huntley Park in DeKalb will be dedicated at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15. All are invited to attend and meet labyrinth artist Marty Kermeen. Pick a flower from your garden to bring along and lay on the labyrinth center. The labyrinth is a Museum Without Walls project of the NIU Art Museum in conjunction with the DeKalb Park District and the NIU Campus Activities Board Fine Arts Committee. Huntley Park is located south of downtown DeKalb between Second, Third, Prospect and Garden Streets. For more information, call 753-1936.

CROP WALK RALLIES SCHEDULED
Recruiter Rallies for this year's CROP Walk are scheduled for 5 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at United Campus Ministries on campus. Recruiters will receive an information packet and learn how to motivate members of their organizations to participate in CROP Walk, a non-denominational event that raises money to fight hunger at home and abroad.

LEARN ABOUT GOOD FAITH RECRUITMENT EFFORTS
Affirmative Action and Diversity Resources is hosting a workshop on good faith recruitment efforts at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, in room 178 of the Diversity Resource Center. Topics include: what Affirmative Action and Diversity Resources is and why they are involved in a job search, what policies and procedures to be aware of in order to conduct a good faith recruitment effort when hiring faculty and supportive professional staff, strategies for recruiting a diverse pool and much more. CHRISTIAN FACULTY/STAFF LUNCH
Christian Faculty and Staff will hold their monthly prayer luncheon from noon to 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, in the East Room of the Blackhawk Cafeteria. You may bring a lunch or purchase one there. Anyone is welcome to attend.
