NIU President John Peters shows off NIU's new Convocation Center to U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin. The senator was on campus Friday as part of a campaign sweep through the state and to discuss issues related to higher education with Peters. Durbin also toured the university's new College of Business building, Barsema Hall, and met with a group of Democratic students.
