NIU is home to many different service-oriented student organizations and clubs, including Camp Kesem at NIU, Circle K International, Engineers Without Borders, NIU Best Buddies, and UNICEF Campus Initiative. In addition, many Greek-letter and other social organizations have significant service components. Community service events take place throughout the school year.
