Nonprofit and NGO Studies Programs

Nonprofit and NGO Studies was created for students who want to make a difference in the world by working for nonprofit organizations or in the fields of philanthropy, public service or community engagement, but want a paying career as well. You can choose from three program options plus an additional certificate in Grant Writing.

  • Major: 24 credit hours in core courses plus interdisciplinary requirements toward a B.A. or B.S. degree. You can customize your degree by selecting elective courses that most closely connect with your interests and career goals.
  • Minor: 18 credit hours as an addition to any major.
  • Undergraduate Certificate: 12 credit hours as an addition to any major
  • Grant Writing Undergraduate Certificate: 12 credit hours as an addition to any major, including Nonprofit and NGO Studies.
