About the CIA® Exam
The internal audit function is an effective assurance and consulting function designed to evaluate and improve effective risk management, control and governance processes. Internal auditors have obtained prominent status in most corporations and CPA firms. In addition, internal audit has proved to be an effective training ground for potential managers.
“For more than 25 years, the Institute of Internal Auditors' premier certification, the Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) designation, has reflected competence in the principles and practices of internal auditing and has served as the only internationally accepted designation for internal auditors.”
