Future workshops to be announced

This two-day workshop is designed to assist facility professionals seeking to earn the CFM® credential with preparation for the competency-based examination. Participants in this program have the option of receiving the IFMA Facility Management Learning System course materials and online resources for advance study. These study materials are not required for exam preparation but are strongly recommended. The FMLS is designed for independent study and is a comprehensive study tool covering each of the competency areas included on the CFM exam. The CFM exam covers a broad range of facility management duties.  The Exam Prep workshop will provide a high level review of the competencies covered on the exam and focuses on tools that can lead to success on the exam, techniques to perceive situations, and the importance of maintaining the right perspective.

Participants in this session will:

  • Learn how to use the tools that can lead to success on the CFM Exam
  • Understand the overall concept of the exam and focus on the methodology of the exam to understand the "how" and "why"
  • Learn to apply critical thinking skills and discuss rationales used
  • Learn from CFM instructors who have been trained to share their knowledge and valuable experience.

All attendees should meet the candidate eligibility requirements set forth by IFMA and possess the necessary FM knowledge and skills required of all candidates.

Course Instructors:
Jerry DiCola FMP, SFP, CFM, LEED GA
