Obtain Your Construction Management Certification or Take as a Refresher Course

This course emphasizes the important role leadership, planning and scheduling play in any construction project. It is perfect for anyone considering remodeling or building a house, as well as professionals who work in support of the construction trades.

Course outline:

  • Role of the construction manager
  • Leadership and communication
  • Safety training and inspections
  • Problem-solving and decision-making
  • Construction documents, including drawings, specifications and contracts
  • Material, labor and equipment estimating
  • Scheduling
  • Cost awareness and control standards

This course may be taken to obtain a certification as part of the Construction Management Certification (CMC) Program, or as an individual course for those interested in the topic.  There are 8 courses to be completed to obtain a CMC certification. Participants seeking to become certified will have 3 years to complete this series of courses and the corresponding examinations.
