Obtain Your Construction Management Certification

Concrete and excavation work are critical to the success of any construction project. This course gives an excellent overview of everything from site planning and grading to sealing concrete and mortar testing. It will benefit professionals working in support of construction trades or those considering building or remodeling their dream home.  Anyone with limited experience or those seeking positions in the construction trades also will benefit from this course.

Course outline:

• Site and soil conditions
• Excavation, OSHA regulations, grading, frost considerations
• Residential foundations, bearing requirements, footings
• Bituminous paving, design, support and preparation, materials
• Cement concrete mixtures, methods, defects, testing and recommendations

This course includes round-table discussions, as well as a review and test.

This course may be taken to obtain a certification as part of the Construction Management Certification Program, or as an individual course for those interested in the topic. There are 8 courses to be completed to obtain a CMCP certification. Participants seeking to become certified will have 3 years to complete this series of courses and the corresponding examinations.
