Part II: Green Building Design, Construction & Operations
This is a required course to earn a Certificate in Sustainable Design & Development. This course includes 21 hours/3 days of classroom learning.
Topics covered include
- Principles of sustainability and green building related to residential and commercial techniques and structures
- Energy Star Portfolio Manager
- HERS and BPI residential energy rating systems
- Common construction errors reducing comfort and energy efficiency
- Commissioning and third party verification
