Certified Facility Manager® (CFM®) Certification
The CFM credential sets the industry standard for ensuring the knowledge and abilities of practicing facility managers. It is the only globally recognized certification for the facility management profession.

Certification Process
- Candidate Requirements - Candidates must meet the education and experience requirements outlined by IFMA. Contact IFMA at www.ifma.org for detail.
- Competency Area Courses - There are 9 core areas of skill and knowledge necessary for a successful manager. We offer an IFMA course for each of the areas plus an additional 2-day CFM review course. See chart below for detail of each course.
- Submit Your Application For the Exam- Once you have taken your courses and are ready to take the exam, you may submit your CFM application through the IFMA Web site at www.ifma.org.
