Grant Renovation

Overview

Grant C Tower is now open! This newly renovated residence hall offers a fresh new look and feel. Available for both new students and returning residents, the newly renovated C Tower provides NIU students with the modern amenities that they have been requesting.

Some of the new features include:

  • Spacious and modern double rooms
  • Movable furniture to allow students to arrange the furnishings to meet their needs
  • More single rooms available for privacy and convenience
  • Wireless internet connectivity throughout Tower C
  • New interior finishes with open architectural elements
  • Enhanced safety and security features
  • Temperature controls in each room
  • Updated student lounges with flat panel TVs

Some of the continuing features include:

  • Utilities, Internet, and cable all included in room costs
  • Flexible dining plans
  • Computer labs and IT support specifically for residence hall students




Living in Grant

Students interested in experiencing the New Northern Lifestyle first hand should plan on signing up for a room in Grant C Tower as early as possible. Room sign-ups began November 1, 2012.

Grant D Tower is scheduled to reopen in fall 2013 with similar amenities.
