The site of the dinosaur bone bed excavated by the Burpee Natural History Museum in Rockford
is near the remote Utah town of Hanksville. The locals, along with officials at the Bureau of
Land Management in Utah, have long suspected the region was rich in dinosaur fossils, hence
the dinosaur sculptures outside this abandoned motel.
