General Meeting
Date and Time: November 10, 2011 (Thursday), 4:30pm
Venue: Engineering Building Rm #241
During the meeting election of chapter officials will take place. The positions are:
President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer
Refreshments will be provided
Responsibilities for the positions
President:
-Preside at all meetings of the Student Chapter.
-Appoint ad-hoc committees and committee chairs.
-Maintain a line of communication between the Student Chapter and the Northeastern Illinois Chapter.
-Oversea overall activities of the Students Chapter.
Vice President:
-Preside in the absence of the President.
-Assist the President.
-Scheduling Student Chapter meetings, times, and locations.
-Maintaining Student Chapter web page as well as any other social networking sites.
Secretary:
-Maintain a list of all Student Chapter members.
-Prepare meeting agenda (in consultation with the President).
-Keep minutes of proceedings at Chapter meetings, and circulate this among the members (via email).
-Review last minutes during a Student Chapter meeting.
-Maintain a file of all Student Chapter records.
-Membership recruitment
Treasurer:
-Collecting of chapter dues and other Student Chapter monies (if any).
-Conduct any other business as assigned by the Chapter President.
