Timeline for Writing the NCATE Institutional Report
FALL 2009
By September 1, 2009 - submit NIU's proposed visit date to ISBE and NCATE
By October 1, 2009 - collect needed data, information, and documents for Institutional Report and Exhibit Room
By December 11, 2009 - NIU's NCATE teams will create a bulleted list of items to be addressed for each element of the NCATE Standards
SPRING 2010
January-February 2010 - preliminary draft of the Instituional Report will be completed and sent to NIU's NCATE teams for review
By March 1, 2010 - NIU's NCATE teams will provide feedback on the preliminary draft
April 16, 2010 - CITC will review the draft
April 1-May 1, 2010 - Institutional Report will be revised based on teams' feedback
May 1, 2010 - Institutional Report will be submitted to NCATE
