Reynolds is the project data manager as well as a member of the steering and advisory committees. As former assistant to the dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Reynolds coordinated data collection and shares responsibility in performing statistical analyses.

As assistant to the dean, Reynolds’ primary responsibilities included quantitative analysis and institutional research relating to the college, its departments and centers, including that on faculty productivity, staffing, and program benchmarking. He also served as the College’s coordinator for program review. Prior to his position in the College, he taught a variety of courses in the Department of Economics (1994 to 2008), including Monetary Policy, Labor Economics and Mathematical Methods in Economics. He has also filled in for faculty per need in the Division of Statistics. He has served as the Economics Department’s Undergraduate Director and Academic Advisor, and has mentored female and male undergraduate students, as well as occasional graduate students. Among other appointments, he currently serves on the NIU Provost’s Office Data Collection and Distribution Committee, responsible for concise and consistent standardization of data capture and reporting processes across the university.
