During this past week, John and I were privileged to learn more about five students who were so tragically taken from us and to meet their parents, family and friends.
In every case these amazing young people were, for all, beloved children, for some, cherished sisters or brother, dear friends and committed students who were dedicated to the pursuit of their individual dreams.
As parents John & I, and all NIU parents, want to extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the parents of these young people. While words cannot diminish your grief, we do want you to know that your children will forever be remembered with great respect and love as daughters and a son of Northern Illinois University.
