My name is Anna Henkel and I am currently a junior at NIU. At this time I presently carry a Marketing degree from Millikin University and I am working towards my second bachelor degree in Dietetics. When I am not studying or working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, running marathons and reading. I am looking forward to the experience I am going to gain while working at Ellington’s.
I’m Angela Maslanka and I am the executive chef for La Perla restaurant. I use to be a business major, but took an internship with Disney and decided that I wanted to enter into the hospitality field. Right now I am currently a second semester junior in the hospitality administration program. My kitchen experience comes from working at different venues through Aramark. I hope everyone enjoys our food!
Hi I’m Kendall Riley, a senior this year at Northern as hospitality major and a business minor. I am really looking forward to graduating in May and work with a meeting and event planning company. Also after graduation I hope to do a lot of traveling. My life is consumed right now with school and work so on the weekends I like to relax and hang out with my friends and family. I’m looking forward to starting the service part of this class. I have never worked at a restaurant and don’t cook much so this class will be a great experience for me and I’m very excited!
Hi! My name is Brianna and I am currently a student here at Northern Illinois University. This is my final semester and I will be graduating with a major in Hospitality Administration and a minor in Business Administration. After graduation, I plan on going into Corporate and Conference Planning and would like to work for Abbott Laboratories. I am a very creative individual who enjoys anything that includes organizing and planning. I really hope you enjoy your meal here at La Perla.
Hi, my name is Jaclyn Molina. I am 22 years old and a senior at here Northern Illinois University. I am Nutrition and Dietetics major here and cannot wait to start a career in that field. Some activities I like to do in my spare time are play sports, be active, and do anything outdoors. I love spending time just hanging out with family and friends and enjoying their company. I am extremely addicted to reality television and love watching scary movies. I have many goals that I would like to achieve in my life and getting my degree from NIU is my #1. So that is just a brief overview of my life and some interesting facts about me.
Hello, my name is Andrea Freeman, and I am a senior in the Hospitality Administration Program. I plan on graduating in August of 2010. I currently live in DeKalb, and enjoying spending time with my family. My future goals are to manage a hotel in the Northern part of Wisconsin or Minnesota. In my spare time I am either studying or working. I look forward to my future in the Hospitality Industry.
