Adrianne Schairer – Marketing Manager

Adrianne is a senior nutrition and dietetics major with a minor in dance performance. Upon graduation in May for 2010, she hopes to join the Peace Corps and aid in the global fight against hunger.

Julie Herzau - Dining Room Manager

Julie Herzau is the Dining Room Manager at Castello Nascoto.  She is a senior nutrition and dietetics major.  Julie is a member of the Student Dietetic Association at NIU and a member of the Chicago Nutrition Association.  She enjoys cooking unique and different recipes at home as well as trying new things.  Also, Julie worked part time as a hostess at Shaw’s Crabhouse for the past 3.5 years.

Lesley Rosen – Sous Chef

Lesley Rosen is majoring in dietetics and nutrition planning to graduate in May of this year. Lesley is aspiring to go on to an internship to become a registered dietitian. Her experience in food production started last year helping with the student run catering service we offer here at NIU, in Adams hall Chandler room. She has always liked working with food and the nutrition aspect of how people should eat and hopes for a good last year.

Kent Toyota – Executive Chef

Kent is a senior majoring in hospitality administration and will be graduating this December 2009.  Not only is he a member of Society for Hospitality Administration, he is also their webmaster.  During summer 2009, Kent worked for Tan-Tar-A Resort for a culinary internship for school requirement.  He had the greatest experience working with various chefs/cooks, learned great deal of the culinary arts and interaction with guests.  After graduating, he hopes to find a job related to restaurant or hotel management or be able to travel around and explore different cultures.
