Joan has been teaching at Northern Illinois University since 1990, with responsibilities including the Quantity Foods Class since 1991. Joan teaches FCNS 316 (Hospitality Service), and FCNS 320 (Quantity Food Production) on a regular basis. Many springs or summers she also teaches FCNS 424, Cultural Foods. In addition, she sometimes teaches FCNS 201 (Human Nutrition) and many of the other foodservice and hospitality courses. Joan is the person to call if you need to book an event in the Chandelier Dining Room, as she supervises the CDR Catering Corp and the Chandelier Dining Room. Joan lives in Sycamore with her life partner, Mark, and has two college age children and a dog.

Terri came to the Chandelier Dining Room in 1998, after many years in the foodservice industry-most recently with Marriott Corporation. Terri is responsible for billing and contracts for the Chandelier Catering Corp and for purchasing food and supplies used in FCNS 200B/320, and the FCNS child development labs. Terri also works closely with FCNS 320, the Quantity Food Production class, in the production area. Terri has a strong culinary background and can often be seen with her Chef's coat on, helping out wherever needed. Terri lives in DeKalb with her three girls and her husband, Bill.
